We are Moodro, a team that creates autonomous intelligent countermeasures against drones. Our goal is to protect the lives of military personnel and give them an advantage on the battlefield with innovative anti-drone solutions.
Facts about us:
● 80+ combat brigades use our systems on the front lines every day
● Over 1,000 electronic warfare and electronic countermeasure stations have already been delivered to the front
● We have official NATO codification and confirmation from the Main Directorate of Electronic Warfare of Ukraine
● Our team includes veterans and engineers who regularly test our developments at training grounds
We are looking for a Technical Writer who will help structure and clearly describe our technologies, solutions, and projects for technical audiences, partners, grantors, and government customers.
If you know how to turn complex technical language into clear instructions and want your work to have a real impact, this job is for you!
Your tasks:
● Write clear technical documentation: manuals, guides, user instructions, technical descriptions.
● Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate complex technical ideas into accessible language.
● Participate in the preparation of proposals for grants, tenders, RFI/RFP/SSN — including technical sections, roadmaps, storyboards, etc.
● Align documents with international standards and government procurement requirements.
● Edit, format, and standardize the content of technical documentation.
● Maintain a knowledge base and update documentation as products evolve.
We are looking for someone who has:
● Experience in technical writing — from manuals to tender proposals, with a deep understanding of how to make complex things understandable. Required: with hardware products or technically complex solutions (embedded systems, electronics, telecom, IoT, robotics, etc.);
● Confident command of English (B2+) — grammar, style, technical vocabulary, adaptation to different target audiences.
● Structured thinking skills — ability to easily gather information, ask the right questions, and create clear text.
● Willingness to work independently and in a team, be proactive, attentive to detail, and able to meet deadlines.
● Technical curiosity — not just writing, but understanding how it works and how it can be done better.
● Experience with MS Office and document formatting, as well as with graphs, diagrams, or templates — a plus.
Advantages:
● Knowledge of electronic warfare, UAVs, and military technologies.
● Ability to work with RFP/RFI/SSN, knowledge of requirements and formats of tender documentation for government/grant structures.
What we offer:
● Real impact. Your work is not just text. It is instructions that help launch anti-drone systems, it is documentation that is used to make decisions at the command level. Every piece of your work contributes to protecting lives and achieving victory.
● A team that respects your experience. We employ veterans, engineers, and volunteers. We understand what trust, clarity, and a common cause mean.
● Reservation. We make reservations for employees so that you can work without the risk of mobilization.
● A salary that matches your experience.
● Training and development. Working with us, you will deepen your technical expertise, gain new skills, and have opportunities for career development.
● Flexible schedule. The opportunity to work from Kyiv, Kharkiv, or remotely.
● Involvement in a great cause. We cooperate with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteer units. Moodro is not just a company, it is a community that is changing the course of the war with technology.
How the selection process works:
● We will review your resume and experience within 2–3 days.
● We will meet online to get to know each other better — up to 30 minutes.
● We will offer a short test task at a time convenient for you.
● We will arrange a conversation with your immediate supervisor — another 30–45 minutes, within a few days after the test.
● If everything matches — we will be happy to send you an offer)
